当科の黒田は、昨年10月からWFNS Education & Training CommitteeのCo-Chairを仰せつかっています。今年はCOVID-19パンデミックの影響で、世界各地で教育シンポジウムを開催することができないまま1年が経ってしまいましたが、来たる12月11日（金）夜、ようやくウェブを用いた教育シンポジウムをコーディネートできました。
エジプト脳神経外科学会のProf. El-Ghandourから「脳血管」「小児奇形」「脊髄」をテーマとしたレクチャーを依頼されたので、今回は黒田のほか、日本から以下の三人の先生たちにレクチャーを依頼させていただきました。Prof. Spetzlerも参加します。

日本では金曜日の夜の開催となりますが、ご興味のある先生はぜひ参加のご登録をお願いします。今後、この教育シンポジウムはシリーズ化して定期的に開催する方向で、Prof. El-Ghandourと協議中です。
African-Asian Collaboration Education Symposium of World Federation of Neurological Surgeons (WFNS)
Prof. Kuroda have been appointed Co-Chair of the WFNS Education & Training Committee since last October. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has passed a year without being able to hold educational symposia in various parts of the world this year, but he was finally able to coordinate an educational web-based symposium on the upcoming Friday evening, December 11.
Prof. El-Ghandour of the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgery asked him to give a lecture on “Cerebrovascular”, “Pediatric”, and “Spinal Cord”, so this time he asked the following three experts from Japan to give a lecture in addition to him.

Prof. Takuya Akai (University of Toyama)
Prof. Spetzler will also give a lecture to us. The symposium will be held on Friday evening in Japan, but if you are interested, you are encouraged to register to attend. Prof. Kuroda is currently discussing with Prof. El-Ghandour to make this a regular series of educational symposia in the future.
