本年3月22日（土）、昨年に引き続いて、若林俊彦教授が主宰される名古屋大学脳神経外科との合同カンファランスを名古屋大学にて開催いたします。
昨年もこのページ上で紹介させていただきましたが、「TOM」は太平洋に面した名古屋と日本海に面した富山とを結ぶ「Trans-Ocean Meeting」の略です。また、両都市間を結ぶ国道41号線は、古（いにしえ）の時代より「ぶり街道」と言われていますので、副題として「ぶり街道カンファランス」とさせていただきました。
両大学から各7名の脳神経外科医が最新の診療・研究の知見を「紅白歌合戦」方式で発表して、白熱した議論を交わす予定です。おそらく、その後の懇親会もさらに白熱するものと予想しています。
The Second Joint Neurosurgical Meeting of Nagoya University and University of Toyama, called as Trans-Ocean Meeting (TOM), will be held in Nagoya this March. Totally 14 papers will be presented by 14 neurosurgeons from both universities. We are looking forward to discussing widely varied aspects of neurosurgery and neuroscience with each other.
