皆さま、本年も大変お世話になりました。
12月28日、無事に御用納めを迎えることができました。本年も本日までに423件の手術を実施しました。10人ちょっとの小規模な医局としては、スタッフ、研修医とも大変頑張ってくれたと思います。と同時に、われわれを信頼して人生を賭けて下さった患者の皆さまに必ずしも喜んでいただけない結果になった手術もあるのは事実で、全員一丸となってさらに知識、技術を向上させる必要性を痛感しています。
また、富山県内外の皆さま、院内の数多くの職種の皆さまからは、本年も多大なご理解ご支援をいただきました。この場をお借りしてあらためて厚く御礼申し上げます。
本年のアカデミックワークは、英文論文15編、英文著書 8編、日本語著書・論文 5編（含むin press）でした。日々の診療に心身を奪われず、もう少し頑張ってもよかったかなと反省しています。また、共同研究にご協力いただいた学内外の皆様に心より御礼申し上げます。
この一年間、教育面では臨床実習を中心に大幅に刷新した体制で注力しました。インターネットを介して収集した、学生の皆さんからの評価は以前よりも大幅に改善しており、来年もさらに改善したいと考えています。
来年も常に心技体を調えて、本年以上の治療成果を目指しつつ、診療・教育・研究に心血を注ぐ所存です。来年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。皆さまのご健康、ご多幸、ご発展を心より祈念いたします。
At The End of Year 2021
I would like to thank everyone for their support this year.
On December 28th, we successfully closed the office for the year. We have performed 423 surgeries so far this year, and for a small department with just over 10 members, the staff and residents have worked very hard. At the same time, however, I am keenly aware of the need for all of us to further improve our knowledge and skills, as some surgeries did not always result in a satisfactory outcome for patients who trusted us with their lives.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone in and outside of the university, as well as the many people in the hospital, for their understanding and support this year. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude once again.
Academic work this year consisted of 15 papers in English, 8 chapters in books in English, and 5 chapters in books and papers in Japanese (including in press). I could have worked more hard. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the people both inside and outside the university who cooperated in our collaborative projects.
During the past year, we have focused our educational efforts on a greatly renewed system of clinical practice. The evaluations from students, collected via the Internet, have improved significantly over the previous years, and we hope to improve further next year.
We look forward to working with you in the coming year. We sincerely wish for your health, happiness, and development.
