過日、米国シカゴのLoyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicineで脳神経外科を主催するChristopher Loftus教授に富山を訪問していただきました。遠藤俊郎学長とも旧交を温めていただいたほか、当科にて頚動脈狭窄症に対する治療の最新情報を熱く語っていただきました。脳神経外科を志す医学生や研修医との語らいにも多くの時間を割いていただき感謝しています。
Prof. Christopher Loftus from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine visited our department and stayed in Toyama for several days. He is one of the best friends of Prof. Shunro Endo, the President of University of Toyama. Prof. Loftus gave us the lecture on surgical treatment for carotid artery stenosis and enjoyed nice seafoods and great nature in Toyama with our staffs, residents, and medical students. We sincerely express a special thank to him for visiting Toyama in spite of his very busy schedule.
