デンマークからのアンデルセン一家と。
長男ルイスは昨年11月、当科での右側のバイパス手術を無事に乗り越えて元気に過ごしていましたが、この夏、左側の病期が進行して発作を繰り返し始めたため、再度来日してもらって左側のバイパス手術を実施しました。本日、すっかり元気になって帰国前の外来を訪れてくれました。この秋からは大好きなフットボールを再開してもらう予定です。
2012年6〜7月、やはり当科で両側のバイパス手術を実施した次女ビクトリアちゃんは、毎日のように出現していた頭痛や四肢脱力の発作もすっかり消失して、今は元気に小学校に通っています。
彼らが健やかに成長して人生を謳歌してくれることを強く願っています。

Bypass Surgery for Moyamoya Disease

Luis successfully underwent bypass surgery on the right side in our hospital in November 2014. However, he started to develop transient ischemic attack due to disease progression in the left side this summer. Again, he successfully underwent bypass surgery on the left side in our hospital in July 2015. Now, he is in much better condition and will come back to Denmark very soon.
His sister, Victoria also underwent bypass surgery on both sides in our hospital 3 years ago. Now, she is almost free from headache/weakness attacks and is very active in her school.
We strongly hope that they will grow up in good condition and enjoy their life.
