もやもや病の新しい英文教科書をSpringer社から無事に出版することができました。一昨日、完成本がSpringer社から届きました。Editorとして、もやもや病に関する新しい知見を世界に発信できることを素直に嬉しくもあり誇らしくもあります。
今回の執筆にあたっては、全27章のうち黒田が7章を担当したほか、ほかの20章を国内外のよき先輩後輩でもあり、よき仲間でもあり、そしてよきライバルでもある著名な先生方にご執筆いただきました。もやもや病の教科書としては約10年ぶりのものですが、この10年間の診療や研究の新しい成果を網羅したつもりです。もやもや病に対する診療や研究の今後の指針になることを願っています。
Brand new English-written textbook of moyamoya disease has been published now!
I have successfully published a new English textbook on Moyamoya disease from Springer. The day before yesterday, I received the completed book from Springer. As an editor, I am very happy and proud to distribute novel knowledge on moyamoya diseae.
In writing the book, I was in charge of 7 of the 27 chapters, and the other 20 chapters were written by prominent professors who are both colleagues and rivals in Japan and overseas. Although this is the first textbook on moyamoya disease in about 10 years, I have tried to cover all the current knowledge of surgical treatment and research in the past 10 years. I hope that it will serve as a guideline for future treatment and research on moyamoya disease.
