We all of members at Department of Neurosurgery, Toyama University Hospital deeply thank all of you who read our Facebook page all the time for your support last year. We would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all the people in and outside of Toyama Prefecture, as well as the many people in the hospital, for their continuing understanding and support.
The number of surgeries last year was about 380, a little less than the year before due to the COVID-19 crisis, but our staff and residents worked very hard and each of them has grown a lot.
Last year’s academic work consisted of 18 papers in English and 11 books and articles in Japanese (including in press). We would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the people inside and outside the university who cooperated in our joint research.
This year marks the 10th year since Prof. Kuroda was appointed to the post in Toyama. We are determined to devote themselves to medical treatment, education, and research, always keeping my mind, body, and spirit in good condition and aiming for even better treatment results than the last year. We sincerely wish for your health, happiness, and development.
