2017年5月16〜18日、プラハで開催された第3回欧州脳卒中会議 2017に当科の秋岡直樹先生とともに参加しました。
黒田は、教育セッションにて「もやもや病」の病態、診断、治療の最新情報について20分間のレクチャーを担当させていただきました。聴衆の先生たちからずいぶんたくさんの質問をしていただきましたが、数年前と比べるとかなりレベルの高い質問が多く、欧米の先生方も「もやもや病」に対する理解や経験が急速に進化していることを実感しました。秋岡先生は「頭蓋内硬膜動静脈瘻の治療成績」について報告しました。
黒田のレクチャーの座長を務めてくれたスウェーデン・ヨーテボリ大学神経内科のTurgut Tatlisumak教授とも1年ぶりに会って、旧交を温めることができました。 来年は彼の地元・ヨーテボリでこの学会が開催されます。
European Stroke Organization Conference 2017_Pt. 2
Prof. Kuroda and Dr. Akioka joined the 3rd. ESOC 2017 in Prague on May 16-18, 2017. Prof. Kuroda gave a 20-min lecture on recent advancement of pathophysiology, diagnosis, and surgical treatment of moyamoya disease there. He was very honored and happy to have a lot of questions from the audience. Dr. Akioka presented his paper on clinical results of multidisciplinary treatments for intracranial dural arteriovenous fistulae.
Prof. Kuroda was also very pleased to see one of his best friends, Prof. Turgut Tatlisumak from Department of Clinical Neuroscience, University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
