本年3月7〜9日、仙台で開催された第16回日本再生医療学会に当科の黒田が参加しました。今回は、Muse細胞を発見したことで高名な出澤真理先生（東北大学細胞組織学分野）が会長を務められました。これまで出澤先生とは基礎および臨床研究にて共同研究を展開してきましたので、今回の学会でMuse細胞の再生医療における可能性が全国的にこれまで以上に認知されたことに大きな喜びを感じています。
また、会場では黒田と長年交流のあるDr. Samuel Abrahamと数年ぶりに再会を果たしました。彼はチェンナイ（インド）に日印再生医療センターを設立した男で、両国における再生医療の研究や交流に尽力しています。

The 16th Annual Congress of Japanese Society of Regenerative Medicine in Sendai, Japan
Prof. Kuroda joined the annual meeting hosted by Prof. Mari Dezawa who found Muse cells with pluripotent abilities for regenerative medicine. He really hopes that Muse cells would widely be applied as promising donor cells for regenerative medicine in clinics in very near future.
He could also meet his friend, Dr. Samuel Abraham from Nichi-in Center for Regenerative Medicine, Chennai, India for the first time during these 5 years.
