2017年11月5〜6日、スウェーデン・ルンド大学のProf. Hans Fribergを富山にお招きして、表題に関する基礎研究、ランダム化臨床試験の最新情報について講演していただきました。
Prof. Hans Fribergは、1995年4月〜1997年7月、当科の黒田がルンド大学に留学して研究していた時、同じラボで脳虚血の研究をしていたことから知己となりました。その後、20年以上にわたって家族ぐるみで親しく交流させていただいています。
今回は5年ぶりの再会となりましたが、旧交を暖めるとともに最新の研究成果についてディスカスすることができて、きわめて有意義な時間を共有することができました。
Can Hypothermia Improve Survival & Cognitive Function after Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest?
Prof. Hans Friberg from Lund University, Sweden visited Toyama for the first time and gave us the lecture on basic and translational aspects of hypothermia therapy for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
Prof. Hans Friberg has been a very good friend with Prof. Kuroda for these 22 years since he learned basic research in Lund University, Sweden between April 1995 and July 1997.
We could discuss a lot on our recent progress and laugh a lot, of course.
