For these two weeks, Dr. Somraji Lamicchane, has visited our hospital to learn bypass surgery from Bharatpur, Nepal. He was financially supported by J-MOVA (Japan Microvascular Anastomosis Training Course) Project conducted by our Japanese Society on Surgery for Cerebral Stroke. I could show himm my surgical procedures, including STA-MCA anastomosis and EDMAPS for moyamoya disease, clipping for ruptured cerebral aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy, removal of trigeminal neuralgia, and syringe-subarachnoid shunt. Simultaneously, we could discuss a lot on our society, medical practice, research works, and so on.
I strongly hope that we could contribute to his future advancement in neurosurgical practice in Nepal.
Boys, be ambitious!
