2018年10月21〜25日、ベルギーのブリュッセルで開催された欧州脳神経外科学会（EANS）に参加してきました。昨年11月、ロシア・ノボシビリスクで開催された世界脳神経外科連合(WFNS)の教育コースで知己になったProf. Christian Raftopoulosに招かれての参加です。ブリュッセルは、スウェーデン留学中の1996年に訪れて以来、22年ぶりの再訪となりました。世界一美しい広場と言われるグランプラス、美味しいベルギー料理と至福のビールをもう一度堪能できて、いい思い出になりました。
今回、黒田は「MasterClass」にて中大脳動脈紡錘状動脈瘤の外科治療についてレクチャーしたほか、プレナリーセッション「今後5年間で脳虚血の外科治療はどう変わるか」という難しいお題をいただいて講演させていただきました。
また、当科からは齋藤久泰先生が「脳血管攣縮の治療」について、山本修輔先生が「もやもや病の画像診断」についてePosterで発表しました。今後の診療や研究に大いに役立ててほしいと思います。
European Association of Neurological Surgeons (EANS) 2018 @ Brussels
We joined the annual meeting of EANS 2018 in Brussels on October 21-25, 2018. This was my second visit to Brussels since I visited there with my whole family when I spent two and a half year in Lund, Sweden in 1996. Prof. Christian Raftopoulos kindly invited me as a Faculty to this meeting. I gave two lectures there: surgical treatment for a fusiform MCA aneurysms at MasterClass and cerebrovascular surgery for cerebral ischemia in the following 5 years at Plenary session.
Dr, Hisayasu Saito and Dr. Shusuke Yamamoto also presented their clinical papers on cerebral vasospasm and moyamoya disease, respectively.
