過日、約3ヶ月間の富山での勉強を終えたスティーヴン（史帝文）の送別会を開催しました。富山滞在中は当初の目的の血管内治療の勉強のほか、開頭手術の勉強にも余念なく、医局でも顕微鏡下での血管吻合の練習に熱心に励んでいました。帰国にあたって血管吻合のためのマイクロ鑷子＋マイクロ剪刀を贈らせていただきました。帰国してからもインドネシアの脳神経外科をリードする男になってもらいたいものです。
Farewell Party of Dr. Steven Tandean
Dr. Steven Tandean learned both endovascular surgery and open surgery during his 3-month stay in Toyama. He has keen interest in microsurgery and practiced vascular anastomosis under a microscope over and over again. So, we gave him micro forceps and micro scissors for his training as a present. We hope that he will continue to study a lot and be an excellent neurosurgeon in Indonesia in very near future. Be ambitious!
