本年5月1日〜4日、シカゴで開催されているAANS2016に参加しています。今回、当科からは黒田がBreakfast Seminarにて「Management of Cranial Incidental Imaging Findings」について30分ほど講演したほか、秋岡が「Clinical Factors Affecting Cognitive Function after Carotid Revascularization: A Multivariate Analysis」と題する演題を欧米の学会では初めて口頭で堂々と発表してくれました。
そのほか、富田が当科における35年の経験に基づいて髄膜腫治療の現状と課題について、林が悪性グリオーマに発現する新規細胞増殖因子TOPKについて電子ポスターで発表しました。
それぞれ各人が今回の学会で得た知見や自信を携えて、明日からの診療・研究・教育に役立ててくれるものと信じています。
84th. Annual Meeting of American Association of Neurological Surgeons in Chicago
We joined AANS2016 Annual Meeting in Chicago. Prof. Kuroda gave a lecture on Management of Cranial Incidental Imaging Findings at Breakfast Seminar. Dr. Akioka presented his data on cognitive function in patients with carotid stenosis before and after CEA/CAS. Dr. Tomita presented his data on long-term prognosis of patients with intracranial meningioma, based on a 35-year experience at Toyama University Hospital. Dr. Hayashi presented his research data on the basic and clinical roles of TOPK in malignant glioma.
