2017年2月17〜19日、ISC2016にてロサンゼルスに来ています。今年は比較的静かな会議でした。深夜は時差ボケに身を任せつつ、ホテルにて日頃貯めこんでいた仕事をかなり進めることができました。今回の口頭発表はかなりマニアックですが、「過去のバイパス手術が無効であったもやもや病に対する追加的バイパス術」についてこれまでに経験した15例の患者さんに対する17回の手術について報告させていただきました。学会はまだ開催中ですが、これから帰国します。
Prof. Kuroda joined International Stroke Conference 2016 in Los Angeles, USA between February 17 and 19, 2016. His oral presentation was entitled “Repeat Bypass Surgery for Moyamoya Disease Refractory to Previous Surgery”. In this paper, the indication, surgical technique, and outcome of 17 surgeries for 15 patients with moyamoya disease were reported. We would like to further contribute to improve the outcome in patients with moyamoya disease through endless efforts.
