過日、当科医局にてバイパス・ブートキャンプを開催しました。学生2名、卒後1〜3年めのレジデント7名、スタッフ4名が参加して、それぞれの力量に応じて「合格！」をもらうまで、simple suture, end-to-end anastomosis, side-to-side anastomosisに段階的に挑戦しました。皆が顕微鏡下の操作に集中してバイパス手術のトレーニングに励んでいると、医局にはいつになく大変静かな時間が流れていました。一人で黙々とトレーニングするのもいいけど、たまには皆で一緒にトレーニングするのも寂しくなくていいかもしれません。これからも課題を変更しつつ、こういった企画を随時開催したいと考えています。
Boot Camp 2015 for Bypass Surgery at Department of Neurosurgery, Toyama University Hospital
We had a “Boot Camp” for bypass surgery at Department of Neurosurgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toyama on Monday, June 8, 2015. Two medical students, 7 residents, and 3 staff doctors join the camp and tried simple suture, end-to-end anastomosis, side-to-side anastomosis under surgical microscope, using a special silicon tube.
