もやもや病に罹患して頭痛や脱力の発作を繰り返していたデンマークの男児が、来日して当科でバイパス手術を受けました。術後、発作は消失して手術から二週間後の11月11日(火)、当院を無事退院しました。デンマークからの治療依頼は、2012年以降、今回が二例目です。
Bypass Surgery for Moyamoya Disease
A 9-year-old boy from Denmark successfully underwent STA-MCA double anastomosis and indirect bypass for moyamoya disease in our hospital. Headache and weakness attacks completely resolved after surgery, although these attacks frequently occurred before surgery. He was discharged from our hospital two weeks after surgery. He is the second case that was consulted from the pediatrician in Denmark.
