2018年2月3日（土）、第1回脳神経外科M&Mカンファランスを富山大学医薬イノベーションセンター「日医工オーディトリアム」にて開催させていただきました。今回のテーマは初回ということもあり「脳神経外科M&M解体新書」とさせていただきました。
高度な診断、治療の知識と技倆が常に要求される脳神経外科の診療では、医療安全管理が不可欠ですが、これまでわが国では脳神経外科領域におけるインシデントや合併症に特化した全国的な研究会はありませんでした。今回のカンファランスは、森田明夫先生（日本医科大学）のご提案により発足、この分野ではパイオニアの宝金清博先生（北海道大学）にご指導いただき開催いたしました。今回のカンファランスでは、3大学の先生方に加えて、趣旨に賛同して下さった井川房夫先生（広島大学）、近藤五郎先生（名古屋大学）にもご参加いただき、各人の経験を共有することで全体として医療安全の意識を高め、インシデントを減少させる目的を達成できたと考えています。
The 1st. Conference on Morbidity & Mortality in Neurosurgery
We hosted the 1st. Conference on Morbidity & Mortality in Neurosurgery (CMMNS) in Toyama on Saturday, February 3, 2018. This was the first conference to intensively discuss and share the knowledge on the morbidity and mortality in daily neurosurgical practice in Japan, and is founded by Prof. Kiyohiro Houkin, Prof. Akio Morita, and me. We were very glad and honored to welcome many neurosurgeons who are interested in this field to Toyama.
